Summer 10 - newcomer mingle

[ It's late morning when the ferry comes around, landing on the jetty and letting off a small but valued group of new arrivals. Olivia is out there, greeting and handing out information packets.

Later in the afternoon, there's a small welcome party set up at the community center. The tables are laden with cinnamon buns, elderflower lemonade, fresh strawberries and an assortment of small cookies and other treats. There's also thirium lovingly set up to the side of the buffet, for the android population. Ingvar shows up a little later with his accordion, setting the mood with some traditional folk songs like he's wont to do. ]

[ There's a whole lot of angry huffing on Haein's end as he pulls his shirt down all the way. The peaceful and quiet Lingonberry cabin over. Time for all hell to break loose.

He wrenches the door back open in order to face her down, expression darkened with his usual scowl. ]

Are you incapable of knocking? Isn't that usually the first thing people do when they see a closed door?

[On a normal day, and with a normal response, this is where Umi would issue an apology. She's not a monster, after all, and she does tend to feel bad when she does something dumb. She does feel embarrassed, too, for just sort of assuming the place was empty just because she couldn't hear anything.

However. However. If this guy's gonna double down on being a jerk, who needs manners anyway?!]

[ Oh no. Haein isn't one to back down ever. He'll stubbornly stand there and argue all day if he has to, don't think that he won't. ]

Strip... strip session?

[ That's a downright horrifying thought. He can't even change his clothes in the comfort of his own room now without basically being called a stripper! ]
